While this year proved to be a challenge for me with reaping the benefits of its rewards, I have come to know (realize) the importance of life and how to approach it as I've grown a year older. A couple things that I have obtain and will never throw away are:

• God's will and keeping His relationship | devotional time with the Lord (I love you Lord, thank you)
• An importance to family
• The trials experienced over the summer with unemployment
• A leading role in my new job
• A MBA degree in Project Management (and graduate certificate in PM too)
• Keeping relationships worth having; leaving behind past relationships that hinder you from doing what you have to do.

2 Day Off (sort of ...)

Nice to get off of a 2 day consecutive day work and class seminar. That was really tiring. Looking forward to the Christmas holidays.

First Day: LiveOffice

I had a good first day at work today. As expected, slow at first, but it'll begin to pick up as the days go by. Was excited to meet the team today and look forward to a meeting with them again tomorrow. As my project management knowledge begin to grow, I have to gear up my knowledge of web design as well! What can I get started with. Tableless CSS or compatibility issues with Internet Explorer 6 comes into mind.

New Job Opportunity

I'm really looking forward to bringing my skills and experience towards a company that has been established for some time and has been looking to grow from this ever-growing technological phenomenon that's call the "The Internet." LiveOffice is a service that offers services. We offer unlimited e-mail hosting storage and cloud solutions. I'm excited and committed to establishing myself as a person to provide solutions to our clients and my team as projects get heavy. I have to honestly say that I over-estimated the job market and how we are still "recovering" from a recession that has affected many people both losing and looking for jobs.

There is no question that if you're thinking about quitting your paying job right now, don't quit! Unless it's of a life or death situation. We're also approaching the holiday season, so unless you're applying for a job as a retailer or cashier, you may have to wait until January. Business is tough and direct hires are the way to go. Third-party recruiters are squandering their time and money for companies who need the right people. Paid recruiters are desperately seeking your availability whether you get hired or not because they are offering their services (which is you) to attend these interviews.

Working on a video project and new opportunities

Hope to get into some video projects in the near future. I'll keep you guys posted! In the meantime, also looking into new opportunities. Interesting how the media says it's difficult to find job openings. Being an MBA grad does have its opportunities. I gotta get back into SEO stuff, that seems to be a niche right now.

Transitioning

Moving on! I am transitioning into a phase of my life and adjusting to a new schedule juggling time between job and school. However this week will be a challenge as I face multitudes of work in aspects of life. This will indeed take some time getting used to but I am looking forward to it! Here's what work is like for me, this time before class at the library. 

Working on a Sunday

So I got called in to work on a Sunday filming a Symphony performance here in the Lomg Beach symphony theater. I'm here right now awaiting for the performance to start. I don't see a person below the age of 40 here... Very few kids here and there but no one my age. Well, hopefully it turns out cool.

Movie making!

This next month or 2 I'll be diving into some video making. It could not have come a more perfect time. It so happens that I'll be video editing for home, work, and church. I need to sharpen my skills on green screening and integrating that on flash for web purposes.

Cool and interesting, and will be a challenge! I'm up for it and excited!

3 day work weeks

I love 3 day work weeks because your 2nd day of work in the week is already Thursday. Friday is just around the corner.
