I gotta say this movie was extremely well done. Mother nature and urban city living being destroyed was brought to reality in this movie. And it was done very well. I liked the story as a movie. In real life, what can we say? It's something we can't control as far as the forces of nature is concerned, but we can control our own faith. And that faith is believing in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For if your life is taken, you will life in eternity in heaven. Let's make it our goal!
Star Trek 2009
I was rather hesitant to watch another Sci-Fi thriller as I was already hooked to the Star Wars saga all along. Another attempt to stir my addictive ways to the realm of another galaxy would increase my geekiness by another 150 points. But I wasn't all that hooked into it. I think this is more of the fan based that touched the lives of those that loved the 1960's version of the television series. The action was great and I tried to adapt to the philosophy they had of commanding space ships and space wars. But the movie wasn't for me. But I'd give the movie 4 out of 5 stars. It's what I gave it in my iTunes playlist after purchasing the movie from it. Nice to see that iTunes is adapting to a menu-like system like DVDs do.
Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup
Just finished watching Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup and I gotta say it has pretty disturbing news. Most significantly a man being interviewed in 2007 about exploiting the events he noticed that day with explosions within the WTC buildings. While many believe the collapse of the buildings had to do with the planes, footage and other evidence revealed that it was more than the planes that struck the structures down. Anyway had some facts and history that were analyzed in-depth. 4.5/5 stars
More suspicion rising to Bush administration and how our military service who were trained to counter these tragic events never did their job. Who knows?

Super Size Me: 4.7/5 , They went a little bit extreme with the main character having to go to Mc D's all the time. NO one does that. Right...? That's just killin' himself but overall a good reminder on how we can't rely on fast food chains all the time.
Valkerie: 4/5 Tom Cruise gave subpar performance but I thought the story was good overall. I thought the film was gonna be in German but the scenes and props made it all-in-all authentic. This is a good film for all those who barely keeps up with Hitler history. I'm talking to those hs students who are far from reality and so into this virtual world.
Street Fighter Alpha: 2/5 Why not? It's netflix. Ryu never fought Akuma. And the story was "yawn" The original Street Right II The Animated Movie is still by far the best SF movie of all time. Even beating out Jean Claude Van Dam's version. --> 1/5
G.I. Joe
G.I. Joe was probably considered the last summer blockbuster movie to his theaters today. It wasn't the greatest action packed thriller, there wasn't a great story that backed it up. Overall Snake Eye kept me awake throughout most of the movie. Cobra ... well ... I can't spoil it but I can at least say don't expect too much from the film. A 2.7/5 stars for me.
Star Wars - The Clone Wars
Just picked up this movie on Blu-Ray, comes with a digital copy for my iTunes collection. The animated film of Star Wars The Clone Wars was something to yawn about but surprisingly kept me awake through the film. I should really induce myself into not getting anymore of these add-on movies that make the wallet lighter but I can't help it. The saga in the clone wars series I believe is over-rated, but what happens between the era of Episode III and IV can prove to be most inciting to some fans out there. Sell novels, sell books, sell merchandise, but don't sellout on mediocre films that fill the cartoon network slot.
Overall an okay film. 3/5 stars
Indiana Jones - The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Boy ... talk about a sleeper. I didn't come with high expectations so I think I'm being lenient on my score here. The only thing I was glad to hear in the movie was the Indy theme song that made this franchise a hit since the early 80s. The plot was just like the rest of the trilogy but just wasn't enough to keep my eyes open. In fact I had to get up and grab something to eat in order to stay awake. Harrison Ford looks great in this film despite being 20+ years older. Shia (the guy from transformers) played an okay role but better than the rumored Justin Timberlake playing ... SPOILER: Indy's son. Yeah so Maryim is back from the trilogy too which brings back memories from the original Indy film. All in all, the movie didn't do it for me but at least I went a grabbed the DVD to complete my collection. Without I'll feel naked. I thought the last Rocky Balboa (which I keep forgetting to grab the Rambo collection) movie wasn't necessary to make but turned out pretty okay. This Indy film however is going to get a 2.8/5 from me.
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight once again lived up to my expectations as a terrific Batman film. Living up to its roots of being dark, fierce, and hopeful. Tho nothing has changed from the massacre of criminals from the 1st film, Christian Bale proves that he is once again the best actor compared to other Batman roles in the 90's. The plot is surely fitting to have at least one more good flick to complete the series trilogy.
The action scenes were as good as the first one. The plot thickens late in the film. To those who have been following Batman since childhood, we all know whose Batman's #1 arch nemesis is and that's no secret. The Joker played by Heath Ledger is without a doubt in my opinion the best Joker I have seen in a Batman film. I can say that before I watched the film and definitely after. I have a funny feeling there were a lot of deleted scenes in this film. A lot of scenes that were cut because of the Joker just being too violent for some viewers. The guy is more of a killer than a comedian and this character will make Jigsaw (from the Saw movies) look like a baby.
Wont go a bit into the plot, I will say this film has my rare 5/5 stars.
Cameron Diaz ... goes Bald
I admit, Cameron was one of my babes in her roles in Charlie's Angels, the Holiday, What Happens in Vegas, Vanilla Sky, and There's Something About Mary (the movie that put her on top!)
Few chicks can pull off the bald look (ie. Natalie Portman), but Cameron ... she look's like a retarted kid ... = \
She's 35 now, let's wait 5 more years for her hair to grow back.
