Been a While ... again!

Wow, it's been a while since I blogged here. ... As expected! I've been so busy working on other things. I've put my priorities in devoting myself to my other blog --> devoted.michaelserna23.com, but I will try and update this blog more as I see fit. ... As expected? heh! We shall see!

I'm working on redesigning my site. I will announce it when it's completed on this blog! So stay tuned! 

Lakers-Celetic Rivalry Renewed-Again!

Tonight we begin another series oh so familiar to basketball fans, especially Laker fans across the world. This time with revenge in their minds, and a monkey on their back, the Lakers should forget about how they won the 2009 NBA Finals and focus in on how they lost the 2008 NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics. This will give L.A. a little bit of motivation, toughness, and "umph" as they go up against their arch-nemesis. This will truly and hopefully be an exciting series for any basketball fan out there.

Netflix for the Wii

Just got my Netflix disc over the mail. I can now use Netflix over my 3 next gen consoles.

Marvel on the iPad

If I'm not reading my bible, devotional, inspirational books on my iPad, I get on Marvel app and read some vintage Marvel comics. It's pretty to live on some comics that have went away through my years in school. Catching up on series like X-Men, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, etc.

These are the best creative superheros in my opinion. Good job Apple!

My iPad

Glad to be typing on my iPad! It's gonna take some time getting used to but I'm stoked!

My 5 minutes with the iPad

Today I visited the Apple store in South Coast Plaza to see what the iPad was like. It was a lot heavier than I thought. I don't know if I can't imagine myself playing games on this thing for more than 15 minutes. Other than that, it's a great (colorful) book reader unlike the Amazon Kindle. It transitions smoothly when it detects gestures. Overall, my time with iPad was all right. I can rate this product 7 out of 10 stars. This is my initial reaction however. I haven't used it much to my ability and because I had a previous engagement to attend to later that evening. 

The Apple Store is a very lit room. So looking at the screen with all that lighting made the contrast of the iPad sometimes difficult to see unless you tilt it at a certain angle. I tried Plants Vs Zombies, The Simpsons Game, and NBA Live 2010. As far as other things I've tried accessing the iBooks app and store. I downloaded Pastor Greg's Sample eBook, Losers and Sinners. I've tried the mail app and played some movie trailers. All great when sitting down. I stood up most of the time because there wasn't a chair or coach I could bring it too. Anyways... I'll still get it. It was sold out today so I didn't pick one up. Perhaps another review to come later! 

Duke Vs Butler

The NCAA Championship was an awesome basketball game to watch tonight. It showed a lot of emotion and intensity on both ends of the court. It was my first game watching Coach K win a National Championship. A Thriller game it was!

iPad is Now Here

I say it use to be a 10% chance I'd pick this up, but that percentage has now increased to 80%. Really considering it but I'm not desperate for it.

 

2012

I gotta say this movie was extremely well done. Mother nature and urban city living being destroyed was brought to reality in this movie. And it was done very well. I liked the story as a movie. In real life, what can we say? It's something we can't control as far as the forces of nature is concerned, but we can control our own faith. And that faith is believing in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For if your life is taken, you will life in eternity in heaven. Let's make it our goal!

Redeem Digital Music!

 

For Blu-Ray customers have you purchased a movie that came with another disc where you can redeem your movie by entering a code?

I think music should be the same! When you purchase a music album, you should be able to redeem a digital version and have it accessible in your computer, or compatible music player!
